Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I had my cousin’s engagement party on Saturday so that was fun and then I spent all day yesterday relaxing and reading! Did you get up to anything exciting?
Today I’m here with my TBR for the Polar-thon that I’ll be taking part in. Polar-thon is a read-a-thon hosted by the lovely JadeyRaeReads (you can check out her channel here). The aim of this read-a-thon is to climb to the top of the mountain using the graphic below and also to discover more Polar Fantasy novels.
The read-a-thon is a week long and starts today (04/02/2019) so I’m a bit late in posting this but ah well, and it ends 10/02/2019 (Sunday). You can watch Jade’s video for the announcement (here) and also her Polar Fantasy recs (here). The prompts and books I’ve chosen for this read-a-thon are;
- A Journey Ahead – Daughter Of Smoke And Bone by Laini Taylor
- Blue Cover – The Wicked King by Holly Black
- Silver Cover – The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli
- Snowy Cover – Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
- Polar Fantasy – Northern Lights – Philip Pullman
I feel like I’ve set myself up for failure already because none of these are short books and it’s a lot to read in a week haha! Hopefully with the week I have off before starting my new job next week I’ll be able to get a good chunk of them done but we’ll see how it goes!
Are any of you planning on taking part in the Polar-thon? Are you taking part in any other Read-a-thons? If you are then let me know in the comments below!
Have a good few days, stay fab and I’ll speak to you all soon!
