January TBR

January TBR

Hey guys, so we’re officially at the end of the first week of January 2019. I’m so late in posting my TBR for this month but here were are now that I finally have some sort of reading options in order. For the first part of January I decided to take some books out of the library so for now those are the books I’ll be reading! These books are;

  • All These Beautiful Strangers – Elizabeth Klehfoth
  • The Loneliest Girl In The Universe – Lauren James
  • Man Up, Man Down: Standing Up To Suicide – Paul McGregor
  • Descender Volume One: The Stars – Jeff Lemire
  • Bitch Planet: Extraordinary Machine – Kelly Sue DeConnick

I’m already about halfway through All These Beautiful Strangers and it’s been alright so far. I’m not really connecting with any of the characters but the plot line is keeping me reading as I need to know what happened to Charlie’s mum. I also just finished listening to the audiobook of An Absolutely Remarkable Thing’ by Hank Green. It’s the first proper audiobook I’ve listened to in full and although it took me a while to actually get into it, I ended up really enjoying the story. I think at some point in the future I’m going to get the physical book and read it because Kristen Sieh just wasn’t a good narrator. Her voice was extremely monotonous throughout which is one of the reasons I think it was so hard for me to get into. With the way the book ended I desperately need a sequel to find out what is going to happen and apparently there is going to be one so that’s something to look forward to!

As the month goes on I’ll probably end up reading a few more books on top of these ones, especially as I have a few I need to review!

What are you guys planning on reading this month? I’d love to see your plans for the month ahead!

Remember you can follow me on Instagram and Twitter.

Have a good few days, stay fab and I’ll speak to you all soon!

      1. Thatโ€™s a shame but I totally understand. Iโ€™m really excited for her new book this year about the youngest boy and girl on earth after a virus caused global infertility!! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜

      4. Yeeeey! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ well I started reading mine two years ago, but the format wasnโ€™t great as an ebook so I resolved to buy the paperback but I should have kept reading while I had the momentum! ๐Ÿ˜‚
